The Last Hurrah for Crinkly - Euro tour (9/7-?) Day 48-9 (17-8) Brunching and chilling with some island views (10/24-5)

Go with Marc to grab brunch overlooking Balluta bay to get the day started... not a bad deal with such great views and food. Hang out for a little bit then go back to the place to chill for a little bit before heading over to Il Gabana to grab an early dinner on our way over to La Luz to hang out with a group of his friends. After the group assembles and we hang out for a little bit, we head down to store room to listen to some live music and hang out with an even bigger group of friends until the place closes down and we head back to the place.

My selfie game is strong hahah

A little OJ with our delicious brunch. yeah those are delicious lil crispy waffles in the middle :)

The next day is a shitty weather day so we grab lunch at Eeetwell before returning to the place to do some yoga and and work around the place. We walk over to Vecchia Napoli to grab dinner and bring it back to the place so we can eat while watching a movie and taking it easy.

The Last Hurrah for Crinkly - Euro tour (9/7-?) Day 47 (16) Annual Rolex boat race viewing (10/23)

Today was the annual Rolex yacht race in Malta so we went to a bar along the water that would allow us to see the boats come out of the harbor and then around the first turn to head out. This race apparently leaves Malta and goes up around Sicily or something like that before coming back so its a multiple day race with boats of all sizes. We hang out having a snack and enjoying the sights/day before going to run some errands with Marc. After that I went into the water for a bit of a swim before doing some yoga and showering. Eventually go grab dinner and drinks at the dubliner and have a little bit of a sweet tooth so I go grab a dessert from Manouche before heading back to the place to call it a day

Our view for the races

The Last Hurrah for Crinkly - Euro tour (9/7-?) Day 45-6 (11-12) Fine dining all over the island (10/21-2)

Get up and going and head over to Mint Cafe for a nice little lunch. Delicious healthy food with some shakes and an awesome outdoor patio overlooking the coast but since it is inland a little bit, not directly on the beach. After I finish my meal, head next door to get a massage as my feet had been bothering me and thought this would help. Was a nice massage and then went back to grab my swim gear and head for chill swim in the sea cause thats what one does when in Malta :) Shower off and when Marc gets back we get a car and drive over to Mdina to walk around the ghost town (people actually are there but the town is dark, quiet, and pretty cool to walk around at night because of its relative emptiness. After walking around a bit, we go over to Made in Sud for a delicious authentic italian pizza dinner with craft beers and everything. Place was small, staff was friendly, had a long wait if you didnt have a reservation, but it was great and worth it. After dinner we head back to the place.

Another cool ass door - you just stumble upon these as you walk around town

Lil garage door I guess

Another ornate door

City gate of Mdina

Moon rising over the city walls

Such a cool feeling walking around an old medieval city in the quiet/dark

Night time cafe action

Awesome lil alleyway looking festive

The next day we get a little dressed up and go over to Gracy's in Valletta to meet some of his friends for a lunch that was fancy but a bit overpriced and some items were poorly executed (for example the creme brulee was extremely runny and hardly cooked on top) - I am no expert chef but I have had creme brulee before and I was surprised a place that was this fancy would send that out of the kitchen. After lunch, we wind up upstairs in this like members only lounge for drinks. Was an extremely nice building with a pool table that was the size of a king size bed and some tasty drinks. After we finish there we go over to Taproom for dinner and drinks while still hanging with the same group. Once we are done there, we go meet another group of friends at Wine not for another drink before we head back to the place for the night.
