The Last Hurrah for Crinkly - Euro tour (9/7-?) Day 30 Back to Dublin for my encore (10/6)

Have a quick lunch at the cafe on the way to the bus stop. Get there and the bus is late (cause of course it is). Not only was it late (70 mins late at that) but there isnt any way of knowing where it is or when itll get there which is annoying cause theres no real place to protect yourself from the weather or anything like that and you wind up just sitting there when you could be chilling in a cafe nearby or something like that.

Saw one more art cat on my way to the bus stop

Some cool paintings at the National art gallery

Stately ballroom in the Art gallery

Theres a lot going on here

Russian nesting doll doors

Also has some beautiful landscapes in here

One of the upper great galleries

Castle on the hill

Cool pic

Pointilism reminds me of those collages that people make a greater pic out of lots of little pics. Either way enjoy them both

Various colors of ivy taking over this building

Another awesome example of the ivy climbing all over the buildings here

Ooohhhhhhh buddy Crinkly.... been 30 days and we have finally done it > O'BRIEN'S PUB!!!!

in case there was any question as to where I was at

What does O'Brien drink at O'Briens pub? Crinkly said Guinness and who am I to argue? Im just his sherpa

Its a sign....

yall tired of the Obriens stuff yet? :)

Had some delicious dinner to celebrate this victory

some more casualties of the night

Celebrating the only way I know how in Ireland - with a guinness and live music

Eventually it gets in and take it to Dublin. Get in and get checked into my hostel (different one this time as I wanted a more central and public transit friendly hostel for my trip to the airport in a few days). Get settled then head over to the National art gallery which is a huge free art museum that was awesome to check out. After that continued my way south to do what I came to Ireland to do, have a guinness in an Obrien pub (yeah it took me 30 days to accomplish that but I did it so thats what matters); because I needed to drive meaning for this accomplishment, I had 3 pints (everything in 3s). After there, I head over to Bigfan for an incredibly delicious dinner (the hordes of people eating there were definitely a good sign) as I was walking back to the main part of town. I wanted some music so I went back to the Darkey Kelleys pub near the old hostel cause that became my go to for good irish music in Dublin and it doesnt disappoint. After listening to music there for a bit, head back to the hostel to turn in for the night.

Hostel review for Abigails hostel - The showers were like warm at best. The door numbers were hard to read cause Im colorblind and they were like a deep red on a black or something like that so it took me a while to find my room. Great location. Staff was nice but there was minimal interaction with them. No breakfast cause covid which sucked especially since the advertisements when booking still included free breakfast. Have to make my own bed (their reason is they have to save money for staff). Large common area. Bed was good and comfy but seems a lil small. No place to sit for top bunks in the room which is annoying but seems to be the norm in many places unfortunately.
