The Last Hurrah for Crinkly - Euro tour (9/7-?) Day 33 (2) Exploring Budapest from top to bottom (10/9)

Woke up and had a bit of breakfast at the place before walking a little ways to meet up the free walking tour in front of the massive parliament building. As is usually the case, its a very informative and enjoyable tour that takes us a bit a ways around. After that finishes, we grab a bite for lunch at Quing dong which was some delicious vietnamese grub. When we finish our meal, we walk down through the pedestrian areas to the market to check it out.

Sherpas being ignored trying to order some drinks at the final stop of the night

Drinking some locally produced wine in what I imagine is one of the more up-kept ruin bars?

Got a few options to choose from

His turn to be ignored haha

After walking a bit through there, we jump on scooters and head over to the Buda side of the river where our scooters randomly just stop working cause I guess we found a dead zone. Walk up the hill and grab a drink at Monkey cafe before walking more around the castle to get some views of the city below. Walk our way down and back to our side of the river via a different bridge and get back to the place to take a quick nap. After we rise, we go to Pozsonyi restaurant near the place which had delicious local grub (you know youre in a good place when you communicate with hand signs and pointing at the menu cause no one speaks each others language). Walk over to the rail after that and take it over to the jewish quarter to have a beer at Beer point which is a nice chill place. Try to go to the ruin bar Szimpla Kert but the line is outrageously long (down the street and might have wrapped around the corner) so we keep walking and wind up at Fekete Kutya for a beer then over to Kisuzem for some whiskey and local wine. Both places were pretty packed but no line and had a cool hipster vibe to them. Rain was in the forecast so after the last place we get on the rail and get back home just before the rain starts coming down. Have a drink there and call home to catch up with some friends of ours before bed.
