The Last Hurrah for Crinkly - Euro tour (9/7-?) Day 38 (4) Checking out Paceville (10/14)

Start walking towards Paceville and have to stop and watch the intense waves just destroying the coast as I am not sure where its coming from but it is intense. Stop at a different Eeetwell than yesterday and have a salad and juice while continuing to watch the waves go crazy on the coast. After finishing the meal, keep walking and get into Paceville where I realize its a more modern type city with very trendy bars/ hotels everywhere and many night life options including quite a few strip clubs, malls and all that jazz.

Found the Knisja tal-Karmnu church walking over to the new city area

Waves wreaking havoc on the coast

Look like some nice places to stay

View back of the area just walked by from the other side of the bay

Just look at the various architectures going on in this one pic

My first trip to Europe was characterized by pub crawls/walking through various cities drinking local wine/beer and eating a bunch of doner/wok to walk. Essentially we were non stop walking and this place was one of the main reasons we were able to eat and move so much. Nostalgia <3

Rotated building. Apparently this architect has a few buildings around the world with similar structures

HolidayInn Express supporting the colorful balconies motif

Made it over to George's beach and it started sprinkling

Yeah those waves are still pounding

Like how this building was a mix of reflective blue glass and a brick looking material. It def sticks out

God punishing the sinners gambling... not but seriously, look at the wave break height.

Such a cool looking entry

Doesnt stand out so much from this angle.

Found myself back by a living quarters. Would make sense that this nice ass apartment complex has a parking lot for its boats

Kitty homes.... These lil plots of land all over the islands provide food and other things for cats to live their best lives on the streets. People donate and cats live. Kinda cool.

Getting brave and challenging poseidons power... this never ends well

Knights of St Johns church

All these pigeons were battling the extremely high winds by just clumping up and sitting there. Bold strategy cotton, lets see if it pays off. But was wondering if/when a cat would come along and just snatch one

So yall remember the bear trash can from a few days ago??? PENGUIN!!! and dolphin, but PENGUIN!!!

Beautiful night views of Valleta and its outer wall

Focusing on the main attractions downtown

Lots of cool architecture also to enjoy as you walk around. Eventually get up to St. George beach which is also getting pounded but its a huge beach and looks like a great place to get in the water on a normal day. After that make my way back to the place along some different routes to finish laundry before doing some computer work and then starting to cook dinner (we make some meatballs with tomato sauce and pasta). After dinner, go to Marcs work with him and chill for a little bit before walking around sliema to check out the east point with night views of the Valletta old town which is gorgeous. Walk around a bit more before jumping on a scooter and tandeming back to the place for the night.
