Go to the Parliament to get tickets to take a tour and they are sold out for the day (this is what we get for not planning ahead) so we walk around a bit and decide to go up to a bath house. On the way we stop at a cat cafe, have a coffee and pet some cats that just roam freely and hang out all day which is pretty sweet. Walk all along the main artery seeing the buildings as we go and get eventually to hero square which is a giant square with statues and traffic all around it with a park on the other side of it.

Back at the parliament... no tickets so guess we wont be touring this bad boy |

Round 2 ahhh yeah! |
Walking through the park and stumble upon a festival which was cool (lots of food, drink, music, etc.) but we then go over to the Széchenyi Thermal Bath to get some hot spring action in; it was a little expensive and we had to buy sandals if you didnt have them and didnt even need them as they were more of a death trap than not having them (slipping all over the place). On top of that, they didnt have any single lockers available so we had to upcharge for a cabana which they didnt give it to us for the price of the 2 lockers which is somewhat infuriating but I guess thatll show us to go earlier and/or go to a non tourist trap one. Water in the pools wasnt as warm as I would have liked it (not a single one was hot, luke warm was the hottest they got) but the place was beautiful and there were places to get beers and what not if you wanted so you could spend all day there just chilling. Once the bath house closes, we get dressed and go back to the festival to have some craft beers from one of the stands there which were ok but best by far was the RIS (of course I would say that). Continue to walk through the park and eventually make our way over to Paprika which was recommended by our guide. Place was decked out in cool items and the food was fantastic; great suggestion for sure. Grab transit to head back to the place.
