I get up and check out with my bags in the lobby while I wait to take my bus to the airport. In the mean time, I walk over to Bunsen burgers to try their food as they are a staple in Dublin. They are good but its definitely small for the price. Get my bus to the airport and then try and check my bag in. Their system is all streamlined and automated but because my bag is large/awkward shaped and the scales at the kiosks are small, the system thinks the weight I started with and am now trying to check in are different and wont take my bag. The person at the kiosk sends me to an unmanned lane so I then just cut in a different line nearby and the lady there eventually helps me and has me go to the oversized bag lane which was on the other end of the check in area. They wind up taking the bag (unsure why some airlines say its normal size, others its oversized, etc.) Minimal security lines and no immigration to go through which I guess its because we are going to another EU country? Either way Chill by the gate until its time to board and the flight is pretty empty. Get into Budapest and take the bus into town and walk to the place to check in. Chill around the place until Marc gets in and then we go walking and get a doner from Szeraj Turkish restaurant on the main street and then continue heading up the street until we wind up at Slovakian brasserie for a beer and a shot combo. After taking those down, we head back to the place to plan the following days.
