The Last Hurrah for Crinkly - Euro tour (9/7-?) Day 31 Last day in Ireland.. what to do (10/7)

Try one more time to get into the Trinity University grounds to see the library but its still closed to visitors so I guess Ill have to go back at some point. Go to KC Peaches cafe to grab a juice and a caramel bar which was incredibly sweet, I couldnt even finish it. Go into the Archeology museum as the national library was closed, and its a nice museum with lots of gold/stone/metal artifacts and information about the vikings and early people of the land so was glad I checked it out. After that, grab the bus to go check out the botanical garden which is huge and beautiful.

when you cant choose 1 color, you use them all hahaha noice

Who can guess where we are at?

Crinkly taking notes on how to become a viking

Crinkly missing his bigger bro, by seeing some of his brethren (Theres another beer called More Cowbell by the same brewery :) )

After checking out archaeology, Crinkly had me sherpa him across town to see some flowers

And flowers there were

Also a huge green house

Another view of the huge greenhouse

Crinkly met a badger friend

More beautiful flowers

Differently beautiful flowers

Row of pretty flowers

Took a class in college about the math of life or biology or something like that; essentially talking about how in the pattern of nature, there are underlying mathematical patterns that permeate throughout. When I see flowers like this, it reminds me of that.

They come in all kinds of colors

More beautiful flowers for your enjoyment

Crinkly found the veggies

Tower from the cemetery

Part of the old wall

Found a squirrel friend

You only thought you were done with pretty flowers

But I always got more

Who doesnt like shiny things?

Made my way into the Glasnevin cemetery

Very large cemetery with varying levels of upkeep on the headstones

Crypts down below. I wonder how the people on top are buried when there is not 6 ft between the 2.

Tower of power - aka O'Connell tower

Hard to miss a church thats this big... St Peters cathedral

Beautiful inside these churches

Comes with a magnificent organ view

Lovely blue coloring

Crinkly meeting another Irish friend

Some dublin skyline action

Finally made it into Cobblestones, Crinkly can rest easy now

Enjoying some Cobblestone performance music

Got some texas action and a good rule of thumb

Goodnight and goodbye Ireland... Its been real

Grace my love!

What better way to end time in Ireland with an Irish riff

Wak around there for a bit checking out the various paths and then go through the side entrance into the Glasnevin cemetery next to it which is also huge with tons of individual and familiar plots and some ancient graves while others were fairly recent. Eventually find myself at the Oconnell tower in the cemetery near the museum which is an interesting set up with graves going into the ground like garages. Walk a little south and check out St Peters roman catholic church before going nearby to grab a juice from a little shop. Grab the bus back to the hostle and have a beer and some tea while doing some planning for upcoming trips. Walk to the Vegan Sandwhich Co for a vegan philly cheesesteak which was incredibly messy, not bad but of course aint no where near the same as the original. It was also a little small but Ill survive. After eating that, I go to cobblestone as I have not been able to find a table on other nights here to hear the music that gets played (one of if not the most famous place in Dublin for trad music). Got there early to ensure I could get a table so grabbed a chair and a beer and waiting for the music to start. They start a bit late and there is no singing involved and they take frequent breaks so I close out and head back to my music bar (Darkey Kelleys) for one final night of music/beers to finish my trip. They eventually close up shop and other bars in the temple bar area are still going strong but they all have lines waiting to get in and I cant be bothered so I just head back to the place to turn in for the night.
