The Last Hurrah for Crinkly - Euro tour (9/7-?) Day 24 Day exploring other aspects of Cork (9/30)

Get dropped off at the University College Cork campus to start my day. Walk around there checking out the campus, go into the Glucksman museum on campus which was meh; was free but the art inside was nothing special for my tastes.

After I finish exploring the campus, I walk up to Fitzgerald park and walk around there a bit before finding the Cork Public Museum which is a small but good museum with a bunch of history of the city (some of its influential people, clothing, daily life, etc.) and all for free so why the hell not give it a look? After that I walk across the lil pedestrian bridge. the Shakey Bridge, to go visit the City Goal which was rather interesting and pretty to view. Similar to that of the Kilmainham Goal in Dublin. Meet back up Marion and go walk along the river for a bit before trying to go check out Blackrock castle on the other side of the city. When we get there its closed (has an observatory in it). Head back to the place to have dinner and then we go downtown to walk around for a little bit and wind up at Bradleys which is a small specialty store with a vast array of craft beers to choose from. Grab a couple for later enjoyment then we find our way into Crane Lane theater to watch some live music, having walked through Arthur Maynes Pharmacy which was a cool old school pharmacy looking pub. Band was good and was great to hear some live music after the last couple years hahah. After we get tired of the music, we head back to the car and go back to the place for sleepy time.
