Have breakfast and then drive over to Kinsale where we check out a farmers market so I can get a juice and then I walk the path to the fort from there. Path was nice and eventually get to Charles' fort which had some awesome points of view of the surrounding area but smelled like cow shit; at first I thought it was me cause I kept smelling it throughout the fort and I was concerned, turns out it was the fields nearby and the wind would pick the smell up and deliver it to the fort area which was annoying.

Crinkly finally made it to the fort. Fun fact, because of Covid, the OPW (the agency that oversees the historical landmarks in Ireland, made entrance free to all which was awesome) This was one of many OPW places we visited on this trip. |

Crinkly and Marion waiting for me to catch up, but I had to stop and enjoy this view out over the sea |

The fort in all its mosaic glory |
 |
This fort had many great things; tons of bastions for great overlooks, flags flying in the windy air, and stone construction.... yippee! |
 |
Like I said if you dont like stone, flags, and/or views, turn away now. |

Drive over to the beach near the old head lighthouse and wal around for a little bit before heading up to the lighthouse through a really nice golf resort so my friend could surprise one of her friends. Shouldnt have shown up unannounced in covid times hahah. Drive back to Kinsale, walk around town a little bit before grabbing a beer from Hamlet which had great beer from Waterford. The town is incredibly quaint with lots and lots of colors, which I know is kinda redundant when talking about irish towns but this was just colors everywhere. Walk back to the car and head back into Cork to have dinner and then go grocery shopping before going back to the place for shower and sleep.
