The Last Hurrah for Crinkly - Euro tour (9/7-?) Day 18 On to Cork (9/24)

Get up and grab a bite from the store on the way to the bus stop as I head out to Cork to couchsurf for a little bit. Get in, friend picks me up and we head to an open hipsterish market for lunch and juice, which we take back to her place to eat it in the garden. Next head out to get groceries. After we return back to the house to put groceries up, we head out on a walk around the area before coming back for dinner.

mmmm which beer to try?

Stout naturally

Cork at night

Wound up at another brewery and this one did flights so I got a couple

proof :)

The beer menu for those interested

The bar across the street from Rising Suns was impressive

Its a chain but it counts :)

After weve eaten, we head to Franciscan Well brewery for a couple drinks. I have their stout which was pretty good and a passionfruit sour from Otterbank up in Donegal which was incredibly easy drinking. After that we walk through the streets of the downtown area before winding up at Rising Sons brewery where I got 2 flights to try all the things. Their red ale was surprisingly and incredibly roasty tasting while their pale ale was actually more hoppy tasting than their ipa. Their inside aesthetic was also great, wish we had sat inside after seeing it. On our way back to the car, we walk into Bodega which is in a beautiful old bank or some other awesome looking preserved older architecture building. As we were walking through the streets, see the late night, post pub riffraff hanging out all over the place. Get back to the house for some sleep.
