The Last Hurrah for Crinkly - Euro tour (9/7-?) Day 5 Bray Cliff walk (9/11)

Do some yoga then head to the train to go to Bray to do its cliff walk. Plan was to go to Bray then walk to Greystones and take the tram back from there, however in hindsight I would do it differently next time. Greystones is nice, quaint and has some nice views back towards Bray and the hike you just did, but I feel like the better views come from the Bray side and theres a path thatll take you up the hill to get what I am assuming are some amazing views of the area. That on top of the fact that the train is half as frequent from Greystones back to town so it all just makes sense to get off at Bray, walk till the path goes up the hill then head on up and take the loop back to the Bray station.

Traveling down the coast for a new hike

Walking through town towards the hiking trail

These houses reminded me of the ones down in Galveston/Nola

Got to the trail head and wanted to enjoy the look back over the beach city before getting immersed in nature

Such a beautiful walk along the coast

Crinkly enjoying the view of the train tunnel down below

Crinkly and his tunnel views

Came from over there

Crinkly stopping to smell the flowers

Crinkly met a new birb friend

Crinkly says we must push forward

Crinkly sees civilization in the distance

Boating seems to be a popular thing here, can see why

From whence we came

A little bit better view of where we came from.

Crinkly going to enjoy another beach. Cant keep him away

Such awesome views, Crinkly is enjoying life

Naturally hahaha

Back in town

Some newer architecture in the city with some cool reflections

Crinkly entering random gate found in the city

Epic indeed Crinkly, Epic indeed

The basement of the Urban brewery building which was awesome. Bathrooms were down here so definitely go to the loo when here so you can see these cellars.

Guinness at a local pub, found a place finally in this pub, because things were tightly regulated cause of covid, it was hard finding a place to grab a drink. Glad I was alone.

View from the seat at the first place (McDaids) which was a lovely old building.

a pic from inside long hall, from my spot in the corner.

Cheersing the bar at long hall with what else

Tried to get a pic of the back room from my place in the corner. Didnt go too well haha

The views are definitely different here compared to Howth, though both are beautiful in their individual ways which you can see from the pics. Once I get back into town, go to check out Urban Brewery which has an incredibly beautiful building but if you are just drinking they have a separate area which isnt as pretty and they didnt even have any of their beers on tap; WTF mate? Hear that the GAA championship game is being broadcasted and would like to see a match while Im here and none of the bars have an open spot; like you would not have thought we were in a pandemic seeing how crowded these places were hahah. Head back to the hostel to book a couple things then head over to cornucopia for an extremely delicious and healthy meal. Walk around for a bit trying to find a place without a line to have a pint. McDaids had 1 spot open and since I was alone, I was able to take it  and enjoy the pretty building while enjoying my Guinness. Service everywhere has been amazing and I do enjoy on some regards how as soon as you sit down, they want to get you a drink. No time to look at the menu or think its just, what do you want to drink. So you just say Guinness and have a good life :) On the way home I passed by a popular drinking spot called Long Hall which only had like 2 people in line so I wait a little before getting a seat and that place is beautiful. Apparently there was a music video or something like that filmed there which is why its famous but the inside is just awesome so I would recommend people checking it out for that; who cares what was filmed there hahah.
