Have breakfast at the house while playing a board game and then load up the car and head to the arboretum to do some paddleboarding. We find a few dead ends before getting out into the open seas/lake. Scenery was beautiful and much to my own surprise, I was able to stand up on the board without wiping out.
Just enjoying the sun while staying protected a lil bit :) well one of us hahah |

We eventually get back to the landing spot and get out/ pack up the car to return home. We all shower and then head to Momiji for some amazing sushi and cocktails in a beautiful establishment. After finishing there, we head down the road to Tavern Law for a few more cocktails; we didnt make our way up to their little speak easy room but it exists. We walked around the area trying to get into a few bars/clubs that they like to go to but everywhere had lines due to capacity restrictions so we kept trying before finding Diesel which didnt have a line. Go in there for a drink and hang out for a bit. Place is full of people with some nsfw videos showing on the tvs and some people walking around without many clothes on; dont blame them as it was warm inside I was sweating my ass off. After that, we go home and chill while watching some videos and heading to bed. Had an early flight the next day, which Danny dropped me off at and then made my way back home where all my beers made it back safely.
Summary:
Oregon is a phenomenal place with tons of beautiful scenery regardless of what natural formations you are looking for; and this is without me really seeing eastern Oregon or much of the south. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to spend some of this trip with family and friends to help enjoy the experience I was having. I am so happy I took the time to take this trip and explore a part of the states I hadnt spent too much time (only Seattle and BC Canada before really) and I will definitely be going back when I can.
The good:
1. there are plenty of trails/nature to see and enjoy. I look forward to getting back to the area and exploring some of the regions I didnt get to see this time while also spending some more time in the parks in the regions I was in to see more waterfalls and lakes and what not.
2. Lots of delicious options for food/drink are around especially in the cities, but also out in the wineries. I didnt get to explore many of the options but the fact that I went to a decent number of breweries and still had others I could have gone to, as well as a ton of wineries I didnt hit up, there's still lots to taste and explore.
The bad:
1. the lack of ac was a little annoying as it was getting warm but that is just something will need to get used to.
2. The hospitality industry on a whole wasnt too bad but had many experiences of just bad service that I wasnt expecting and was a little annoying as I was coming from a place where most of my hospitality experiences were really good.
