Woke up in the middle of the night and couldnt get back to bed for a while so I pushed back my start to the day a little. Did yoga and since it was later, the sun was out and beating into the room making it very hot, even with the windows open. Sweat a ton during the session. Get dressed, have breakfast then rush to the bus to go out of town to head to Salzman Rd to explore the Forest Park. Driver passes the stop even with the requested stop being activated.

He realizes this, and sees that I am the only person on the bus, but instead of stopping right then and letting me off, he drives to the next stop and lets me off there so that adds at least a mile onto my hike for the day. Get back to the road I was originally supposed to take into the forest and take it up to get into the park until I see the sign for the maple trail and start wandering through the forest. Maybe run into 2 people for the longest time before running into a ranger who is out strolling along the trails to make sure all is good. We chat for a bit as he used to be stationed in Houston and then once we are done talking, I continue with my walk eventually making my way down to the bus stop. The park has miles of trails and is great for getting away from people/city life and the fact that it is reachable by bus is awesome. Bus back finally comes and I make my way down to Bear Lake brewing which has good beers but nothing special. Their pizzas are squares and are really good. Take the bus which stops right outside down to Ruse Brewing which has some pretty decent beers but a bit overpriced and they have no set flight so you just pay for whatever samples you want. Then I walk over to gigantic brewery which wouldnt be a long walk as the crow flies but you have to walk a bit out of the way to get to the overpass as a railyard separates the 2 places. Tried a few of their beers and actually liked the gin barrel beers even though I do not like gin and these beers tasted like gin; not everything I do makes sense. Their normal beers are just meh but the space has a bunch of seating options, inside and out and the bartender was slammed but still had a decent sense of humor. After I finish there, take the bus downtown to get a philly cheesesteak from the Philly cheese house on 3rd in one of the food pod parks; they have a ton of different cuisines all situated in these pods on this block but there is no bathroom which strikes me as odd. Get the food to go and head back to the hostel where there happens to be a large group of musicians sitting out back playing celtic music so I eat and drink out there while listening to them go to town on their instruments. The philly had a weird spice in it but it wasnt that bad. Once the music stops, I go shower and head to bed.
