Crinklys Pacific NW jaunt (5/29-6/20/2021) Day 7 Start of the Guys weekend near Portland (6/4)

Start the day by having breakfast and doing some yoga in the back yard of the hostel before packing the car up and driving back to Portland. Getting back into town and run into traffic as I am trying to get to the airport to drop the car off and meet up the gang.

Checking in and this is the view from the house, Im sure we will enjoy this later.

That waterfall is high up there.

I can see why this waterfall is famous. Such beauty.

View of the upper fall from the bridge

Mini fall up top

Drop off of the fall

View from the top

Another view

View from our afternoon beers, not bad.

View to the other side

Cool tree.

View from our dinner spot

Peaking over the fence

Finally back at the place enjoying our wine

Friendly neighborhood kitty

Probably the best pic we took of the waterfall.

Afternoon brews with the views

Eventually get there, drop the car off and find the guys who flew in and wait for Rivas who was driving down from Seattle to get us all from the airport. Load up the car, barely making it with all the bags, and head out to cascade locks. Check in to our airbnb and then grab lunch at the riverside diner which has some great views. The area is beautiful and we then drive to Multnomah falls which is incredibly impressive. Then we hike up the trail to the top to get the amazing views from the platform up there. Hike back down and go back into town to grab some beers at Thunderbird brewery which has ok beers but amazing view over the river and looking over into Washington. Get a large flight to try many of their samplings then we walk across the street to Cascade locks ale house for pizza and beers. The food is delicious but they have a minimal beer selection. Go nearby to the market to get supplies for the house and then head home to drink and hang out on our back patio to watch the sunset. The house has some amazing views looking at the Oregon side of the valley. Eventually we finish hanging out and go to bed.
