Xmas in Belgium/N. Germany trip day 11 - Getting acquainted with that German Spa life (12/11/19)

Make some stir fry for lunch at the place before heading to explore more of the town. Head first to the main station and then go check out the pride xmas market nearby it. After that walk along the main streets and stroll through a few other markets while steph does some holiday shopping. Walk by stroll im the sprinkler and this couple gets people to sing songs.

Found the penguin pride xmas market so lets check it out

These markets are everywhere

Correcting for light makes the church look a lil more creepy

Back at the main market

Lets go get our spa on

I get a lumumba (hot cocoa with rum and whipped cream) as I am chilling in this market waiting for steph to finish her shopping and rejoin. We then walk through a few other markets while having a few drinks and a break snack before we head back to the place to grab our stuff and head to the spa. The first one we try and go into was ladies only on this day so thats a wash. Go to the next one and get checked in, get into the spa area just in time for a sauna class. The spa is clothing optional I believe and coed, so bunch of naked people just hanging out chilling which was cool/interesting to see. Theres a pool outside which is the icebath (no heating just exposed to the weather) which was a shock to get into after sweating your butt off in that sauna. Lockers took a euro to rent but when you unlocked it, you got your euro back which was cool. The lounge area also had little foot baths which were pretty relaxing in and of themselves. There were also swimming pools with outside access (if you wanted to swim outside), relaxation rooms with personal water beds for napping, a finnish sauna, an eucalyptus steam sauna and a colored light sauna which I guess helps with SAD? Stay until close where we then shower off and head back to the place to catch some zs after packing as we leave Hamburg tomorrow.
