Xmas in Belgium/N. Germany trip day 10 - Feeling the ocean breeze before Lubeck exploration (12/10/19)

Make some sandwiches to take with us on the day as we got lots to explore today. Go through Lubeck to get off at Travemunde which is a small resort town that has a large beach area. Walk around the coast and on the beach before going and exploring the streets of the town before finding ourselves back at a different train station to catch a train back to Lubeck to explore that town.

Ole timey ship docked along the coast

Beautiful water

Looking back on the town from the beach

Entering Lubeck through the entry gates

Selfie time. Dont take much of these but here we are

Beautiful day to explore some beach action

Just me enjoying being on a beach in December in Germany hahah

ME chilling with my moose light friends in front of the lubeck entry gate

When in a xmas market, one must double fist different drinks; not really but felt like I should try it.

Grand church shot

Beautiful, massive entry gate as you walk to town from the train station. Walk around a little before we find the xmas market (not easy to miss due to all the decorations and commotion). Its no wonder this town's market gets recognized every year; it was definitely better in terms of atmosphere and I want to say variety of options. Have a few drinks there and walk around exploring all the stalls before walking up to the north tower to check how it compares to the one we came through earlier (west maybe?). We then go back to exploring these small streets off the main street in pursuit of this one pastry Steph loves and can only get from this one cafe. We eventually find it and get one before heading back to the main xmas market to have some more drinks and some delicious mushrooms (no not that kind). After we get our fill of the market, we catch our train back home.
