Berry's SEAJ trip Day 68: Tea time (8/12/15)

Joined Tammy for her weekly tea class where a lady teaches some of the wives of servicemen traditional Japanese tea culture. The movements and procedures are very exact which is impressive to see her teaching the step by step movements.
Berry waiting to see how this tea gets made.

The box of items needed for this ceremony. What magical box is this?

Berry repping the good ole state of Texas. Yeehaw!

More flag appreciation for Berry.

Berry basking in the greatness that is Japanese/USA cooperation.
After the lesson, we meet Dave in the airline hanger for lunch and then Tammy and I headed over to Ginza to walk around and check out a delirium tremens bar for a drink ( they have standing beers which will save you a buck or 2 if you stand at this satellite bar instead of sitting). I don't understand that for when it is empty like when we are there but found it an intriguing concept. After walking around some more, we headed to the Park Hyatt to have a drink or 2 at their overlook bar (got rejected from the tippy top bar as I had shorts on). It would be a better view had the city not been covered in fog/haze but still as you look around there are buildings/lights in every direction as far as the eye can see. The bar had expensive eats and drinks but I guess you go for the atmosphere and not to save money. After dinner in the basement of the Hyatt, we head home to catch some Z's.
Found a kibuki theatre that had a showing a little later but we didnt have time to wait for it.

Might as well have a beer eh Berry? Why do you always twist my arm on these things?

So Berry wanted some underwear and we stumbled upon these. Not sure if this was an error in translation or what but yeah Ill just leave this right here. On a different note, which ones do you think he picked?

Sidewalk bar right outside a park. Nice!

The tower we are walking to for meeting Dave for drinks.

We ride to the top!

Skyline in Tokyo. Berry likes!

Berry enjoying the view with a classy cocktail.
